About the Brand Library & Art Center
Brand Library & Art Center is a unique public library that focuses on visual arts and music and provides free services and programs for a diverse community, including a collection of over 110,000 items, subject specialist librarians, exhibitions, concerts, lectures, dance performances and hands-on craft programs for children and adults. In 2012, Brand Library closed for a highly anticipated historic renovation project that restored features of this 1904 mansion. In addition to the historic library, participants can enjoy the current gallery exhibition ONE YEAR: The Art of Politics in Los Angeles. Come explore the unique architecture and setting of Brand Library & Art Center!

Optional afternoon activity on your own: Explore the foothills of the Verdugo Mountains from one of the hiking trails near Brand Library. The trails are steep but the views are worth it!
